The District is seeking to appoint two (2) individuals for the following position:

1.0 FTE Special Education Teacher
Anticipated Assignment:
• Two (2) vacancies
• Grades K–12 (current)

Responsibilities May Include:
• Planning and delivering engaging instructional activities
• Establishing clear learning objectives
• Providing diverse learning materials and resources
• Adapting instruction to meet individual student needs
• Integrating technology into teaching
• Assigning and grading coursework, tests, and homework
• Giving meaningful feedback to students
• Maintaining accurate records of student progress
• Managing classroom behavior effectively
• Participating in school, department, and parent meetings
• Communicating regularly with students, families, and colleagues
• Staying current with best practices in education
• Other duties as outlined in the contract

Qualifications:
• Appropriate NYS certification/licenses required
• Prior experience preferred
