The District expects to appoint an individual to the following position for the 2026-2027 school year:
1.0 FTE Teaching Assistant
Anticipated Assignment:
- PK – 12, Elementary assignment currently
- 6:1:1 classroom
- 8:20am-3:20pm, M-F
Responsibilities May Include:
- Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
- Provide student support and accommodate students’ individual academic, social, physical and behavioral needs while working under the direction of teachers and therapists
- Work collaboratively on instructional teams along with all student support service personnel and nursing personnel
- Assist with basic life skills, hygiene and toileting
- Assist with attendance and record keeping
- Other duties per contract
Compensation:
- $27,132 – $49,643, commensurate with qualifications and experience
