Associate Principal of Athletics (1.0 FTE)

Job Description: 

Peru Central School District is seeking an energetic and visionary leader. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of classroom teaching excellence and a deep understanding of effective instructional practice. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, including the ability to collaborate and communicate clearly with students, staff, families, and community partners.

The 11-month administrator will oversee the District’s Physical Education program and athletic programs. The administrator will be responsible for conducting teacher evaluations, as well as scheduling, monitoring, and evaluating coaches and athletic programs, with the ability to make recommendations to strengthen programs in the District. The administrator will support student discipline in the Middle and High Schools. The schedule will allow for flex time to attend after-hours coaching meetings and sporting events.

Requirements:

• New York State administrative certification as a School Administrator, School Building Leader, or School District Leader is required.
• Must be committed to student-centered learning and fostering a positive school culture.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and community stakeholders.

Compensation:

• Salary range: $75,000-$87,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
