🚍 We’re Hiring Substitute Bus Drivers! 🚍

Peru Central School District is looking for multiple substitute bus drivers to join our transportation team!

Position: Substitute Bus Driver
Type: Hourly
Location: Bus Garage
Hours: Determined by the Transportation Supervisor

💰 Pay Rate:

• 90% of the appointed bus driver’s run rate (starting at $53.40/hr), based on 200 days

• $16.50/hr for training/testing
  (Per 2025–26 substitute rates)

✅ Minimum Qualifications:

• Eligible for the appropriate level New York State Driver’s License at time of application

• Must possess license at time of appointment

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Must meet all NYS Commission of Education requirements for School Bus Drivers
