Peru Central School District is seeking multiple Substitute School Bus Monitors to join our Transportation Department!
If you enjoy working with children and want to help ensure our students have a safe ride to and from school, we’d love to hear from you!
Position Details:
📍 Work Location: Bus Garage
💲 $16.00 per hour
🗓️ Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2026
⏰ Work hours determined by the Transportation Supervisor
Qualifications:
✅ Must be at least 19 years old
✅ Ability to build positive relationships with students
✅ Patience, dependability, and the ability to follow directions
✅ Basic first aid knowledge is helpful
✅ Willingness to complete required pre-service and certification training, including food allergy and EpiPen training
