Peru Central School District is seeking one (1) School Bus Monitor to join our Transportation Department for the 2026-2027 school year!
Position Details:
📍 Location: Bus Garage
⏰ Anticipated Schedule:
• Approximately 2 hours per day
• Elementary Run: 8:10–9:10 a.m. and 3:00–4:00 p.m.
💲 $17.95 per hour
📅 Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2026
Qualifications:
✅ Must be at least 19 years old
✅ Ability to build positive relationships with students
✅ Patience, dependability, and the ability to follow directions
✅ Basic first aid knowledge is preferred
✅ Willingness to complete required pre-service and certification training, including training on food allergies and EpiPen use
