Substitute School Bus Drivers

We’re Hiring Substitute Bus Drivers!

Peru Central School District is looking for Substitute Bus Drivers to join our transportation team!

Pay:
✅ Starting at $53.40/hour (90% of the appointed bus driver’s run rate)
✅ $16.50/hour for training and testing

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Eligible for the appropriate New York State Driver’s License at the time of application and possess the required license at the time of appointment
• Must meet all New York State Commissioner of Education requirements for School Bus Drivers

Location: Bus Garage
Hours: Determined by the Transportation Supervisor
