Drama Club Play

This Weekend, Friday December 5th (7pm) & 6th (2pm & 7pm), the Drama Club will have their fall musical production of Hadestown: Teen Edition. Come out and support our talented students to see this musical about the story that intertwines two Greek myths, Orpheus & Eurydice and Hades & Persephone, set in a gritty, Depression-era, jazz-infused world. Eurydice, struggling to survive, is lured to Hadestown, an industrial underworld ruled by Hades. Orpheus, a hopeful musician, travels to rescue her using the power of his song. Meanwhile, the gods’ troubled relationship, Persephone’s yearning for the upper world and Hades’ increasing control, creates imbalance above and below.
The show follows Orpheus’ quest, Eurydice’s choice, and the tension between love, doubt, and destiny, all narrated by Hermes and accompanied by the Fates, blending poetry, folk, jazz, and blues into a modern myth about hope in the face of hardship.

New Code of Conduct Adopted

As we get ready for the 2025–2026 school year, it’s important to review the Peru Central School Student Code of Conduct.

This document is a guide that helps everyone understand how to act at school so that it stays safe, respectful, and welcoming for all.

It’s more than just a list of rules — it reflects our school values. We want every student to feel included, supported, and encouraged to become kind and responsible members of the community.

By following the Code of Conduct and treating each other with respect, we can help make our school a great place to learn and grow. Everyone is encouraged to read it carefully and talk about it at home.

Let’s work together to make this a fantastic school year for all! To view the Code of Conduct please visit: Code of Conduct
