We are committed to supporting educators, students, and families by providing equitable access to modern technology, integrating digital literacy into instruction, and promoting responsible, ethical use of digital tools. Through purposeful implementation of the NYS Computer Science and Digital Fluency Standards, we aim to empower all learners to thrive in a connected world and prepare them to lead with confidence, creativity, and care.

Instructional Technology Goals 2022-2025
Goal #1: By June 2029, at least 75% of K-12 instructional staff will consistently design and implement classroom instruction that utilizes district-approved technology as a purposeful tool to engage, enhance, and extend learning beyond the classroom, as measured by district technology surveys, instructional observation data, and evidence of student-designed solutions to real-world problems.
Goal #2: By the end of the 2026-2027 school year, the district will complete the development of a comprehensive Digital Wellness seminar series and curriculum for students, staff, and parents, with a full district-wide rollout scheduled for the 2027-2028 school year to promote technology as a purposeful tool for well-being.
Goal #3: By June 2029, the district will establish a ‘Global Connection’ framework requiring 100% of K-12 students to participate annually in a collaborative project that connects classroom learning with local or global industry experts to solve real-world problems, as evidenced by student artifacts demonstrating professional communicator attributes.
